The art education program emphasizes both theory and practice in art education. Degree candidates will be expected to demonstrate knowledge in curriculum and current practices in the field. A candidate for the degree must spend at least one full term in residence in order to qualify for the degree. The Master of Science degree in Art with a Sequence in Art Education requires a minimum of 32 hours including a master's thesis.
