To accommodate diverse backgrounds and interests, the program offers multiple terminal pathways: 1) Public policies in citizen security, 2) Democratic reform of security and justice institutions, 3) Application of legal models to security. Area of studies include: Constitutional Law and Human Rights applied to issues of Citizen Security and Access to Justice.  To be admitted into a graduate program, students must pass the Exam III (CENEVAL), which is an exam in Spanish required for admission. The exam may be taken at the IBERO or at CENEVAL centers throughout Mexico.

 International students who do not live in Mexico may take the exam after their arrival at the university on the first date the exam is offered at the university.
