B.S. in Career and Technical Education - Technology Education

The career and technical education program prepares students to teach high school business, family and consumer sciences, and industrial technology students. Students who graduate with an emphasis in technology education are prepared and certified to teach classes in communication technology, production technology, transportation technology, and energy utilization technology. More familiar course titles might include electronics, computer technology, printing, desktop publishing, drafting, building construction, and manufacturing. There is an extreme need in Illinois and across the country for technology education teachers.
