The objective of the Metallurgist and Materials Chemical Engineer program aims to train students and professionals in the area of ​​Metallurgy and Materials, for the social and economic development of the State and the Country, through the generation of knowledge, derived from knowing how to learn, know to be, knowing how to do and knowing how to live together, staying at the forefront in scientific and technological research, with social responsibility, leadership, and high ethical values.

  • Capacity for analysis and synthesis.
  • Ability to develop verbal and written reasoning.
  • Ability to solve problems, application of knowledge. Use of scientific methodology.
  • Able to adapt and develop teamwork.
