General objective
The Master in Law aims to strengthen the Postgraduate and Research Center of the UAdeC Faculty of Jurisprudence, allowing it to have a competitive program through the areas of Criminal, Labor, Tax, Corporate and Open Government Law and Public Policies. The Basic Academic Nucleus of the Faculty of Jurisprudence, carried out a previous analysis, in order to determine what were the professional areas that the student and professional community that Saltillo requires, and to be able to adequately address the impact of the most recent constitutional reforms in our legal system Mexican legal system being more competitive and in accordance with the constitutional reality that the country lives. Graduates of bachelor's degrees with a solid comprehensive academic training, consisting of their own knowledge in the field of legal sciences and positive law; Have methodological knowledge to investigate or propose solutions, in the legal field, to the problems of contemporary, national and international society, as well as to generate knowledge of the area; show capacity for analysis and synthesis through reports or essays; accredit the ability to read and oral comprehension of a foreign language, allowing the reading and evaluation of the pertinent bibliography for the development of the program; have served in the procurement and / or administration of justice; Interrelate the social reality with the legal norm, in order to propose initiatives for the modification and creation of laws;
Graduate profile
The graduate of the Master's degree from the Faculty of Jurisprudence of the Autonomous University of Coahuila; has comprehensive training to carry out teaching and research activities, as well as professional activities for the defense and promotion of their respective areas of knowledge. Learn about the main theories and concepts in the selected area of ​​law and apply the necessary techniques to make them effective in various circumstances, from a paradigm of complexity. The graduate gathers the knowledge and skills necessary to actively participate, and according to their emphasis in the program, in the dissemination, promotion and defense of accentuations. The graduate is able to link the knowledge acquired with the main problems that concern the State of Coahuila, the country and international relations; and will be able to generate new knowledge in the matter by virtue of the mastery of the appropriate research methods. In this sense, you will conduct research where theory and practice are closely linked.
