General objective of Master of Dental Sciences (Torreón)
To train critical, analytical and innovative dental professionals, with a high level of competence in the clinical, health care, teaching and dental research areas. Able to solve complex oral health problems and to interact in teams of Endodontics, Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics professionals to contribute to scientific development and technological advancement that generates new knowledge and improves oral health at the local, regional and national levels.
Directed to:
Graduates in the area of ​​Dentistry with knowledge of the English language and the health-disease process, natural history of diseases of the stomatognathic system, elements and techniques for diagnosis, prevention, treatment and monitoring of patients. With knowledge and understanding of the pharmacological therapeutics of cutting-edge medications for common oral ailments; basic computer systems and ICT. The skills of interpretation and identification of signs and symptoms are essential for the establishment of a diagnosis and treatment of the main oral affections, as well as skills for the use and handling of state-of-the-art equipment, instruments and materials.
