Learning and teaching are our core activities. We are committed to nurturing students’ professional skills and supporting their all-round development.
Students must complete the General University Requirements, core subjects, and fundamental business subjects at an early stage. They will then choose one of the following degrees as a specialism for graduation.
BBA (Hons) in Management
Management skills are essential for all business professionals. As a field of study, management aims to maximise the potential of people and other resources within organisations.
This programme provides students with a well-rounded business education and general management training, as well as the opportunity to specialise in human resource management. Students are equipped with a wide range of management skills to give them the potential to develop as business leaders in Hong Kong, mainland China, and the region.
BBA (Hons) in Marketing
This programme provides students with a holistic business education that includes skills in analysing, planning, implementing, and controlling marketing decisions; analytical and research skills; the ability to communicate, interact, and intervene as part of the integrative role ascribed to marketing; an appreciation of the responsibilities of marketing professionals in broader environmental and international contexts; and literacy in the use of data and technology relevant to marketing.
All students in the Faculty of Business are encouraged to participate in a range of extracurricular activities, such as professional mentorship, student exchange, and other leadership development opportunities.

Students must complete the General University Requirements, core subjects, and fundamental business subjects at an early stage. They will then choose one of the following degrees as a specialism for graduation.
BBA (Hons) in Management

We were the first university in Hong Kong to incorporate Service-Learning and Work-Integrated Education as mandatory components within the undergraduate curriculum, preparing students to become future-ready professionals with leadership skills, cross-cultural capabilities, a global perspective, and a heart to serve. We have also embedded the components of “Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics” and “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” into our undergraduate education, providing students with the skills and data literacy required to excel in today’s technological landscape.
We nurture the next generation of researchers and innovators through various programmes including the Undergraduate Research and Innovation Scheme (URIS) and College of Undergraduate Researchers and Innovators (CURI). We have also introduced the Special Talents Admission and Recognition Scheme (STARS) to support students with exceptional talents in sports, arts and culture, leadership and community services, or science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). PolyU furthermore has established student exchange partnership networks with 280+ universities / institutions overseas.
