This programme helps students to acquire knowledge of Chinese language, literature and culture, the skills necessary for teaching Chinese and the ability to apply what they have learned to their work.

  • The ability to discover, analyse and handle issues in Chinese language teaching and testing; and
  • The ability to analyse Chinese cultural tradition.

  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution.
Applicants may be required to take entry tests and/or attend interviews.

If you are not a native speaker of English, and your Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is awarded by institutions where the medium of instruction is not English, you are expected to fulfil the University’s minimum English language requirement for admission purpose.
