The course in Orthoptics and ophthalmological assistance  aims to train professional figures in the healthcare profession of Orthoptist and Ophthalmology Assistant.
Graduates are health workers who are responsible for the duties of the Ministerial Decree of the Ministry of Health 14 September 1994 n. 743 and subsequent amendments and additions, i.e. they carry out their activity in the prevention, evaluation and rehabilitation of ocular motility pathologies, amblyopia, in some forms of senile low vision, following diagnosis of the disease by the ophthalmologist specialist.
The graduates' activity includes the performance of instrumental and electrophysiological tests (tests for amblyopia, ERG, VEP, campimetry and perimetry, ultrasound, ecobiometry, corneal map etc...).
