Environment and Workplace Prevention Techniques

Degree course in Prevention techniques in the environment and in the workplace belongs to the class of degrees in "Prevention Health Professions" (L/SNT4), is divided into three years and is established within the department of Molecular Medicine and of the Development of the University of Siena.
The graduate is the healthcare professional committed to the promotion and protection of public health and carries out with technical-professional autonomy and under his own responsibility all prevention, verification and control activities relating to hygiene and environmental safety in the places of life and work, food and beverage hygiene, public and veterinary hygiene and health, environmental hygiene and protection in compliance with the provisions of the relevant Ministerial Decree of 17 January 1997 n° 58 establishing the figure and the related professional profile.
