The University of Siena provides a supportive learning environment with modern facilities, including libraries, computer labs, and student residences. The university also offers a range of extracurricular activities, including sports teams, cultural events and student associations.  Each freshman is assigned to a tutor teacher to facilitate his or her inclusion in the educational path and receive all forms of assistance in order to make university studies more effective and productive. Moreover, student-tutors can be contacted for information and further support in student life. National and international students find help and assistance in dedicated offices (International Place and International Relations Division). Assistance is offered to all students with special needs or disabilities to promote access and equal opportunities in daily academic life. Each University building is covered by the University-wide free wireless network.

Student life

The University of Siena is perfectly integrated in a small green city, rich in history and culture, facing the future and with a strong international vocation. Students find a vibrant inclusive community where numerous activities are organized throughout the year. Many student associations animate the lives of Siena University students with cultural and entertainment activities. There are also student associations committed to contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. Those with a talent for singing can join the university choir.
The University of Siena offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs in various fields: 33 undergraduate degree programs (three-year, 3 in English); 37 graduate degree programs (two-year, 15 in English); 5 one-tier master's degree programs (1 in English). There are 12 double degree programs which allow students to be awarded their Degree at the University of Siena and one at a foreign partner institution. A call for applications for our Double Degree Programs is published every January/February. Eighteen doctoral programs are also offered.
