In the academic year 2013/14, the School of Telecommunication Engineering graduated its 25th promotion of telecommunication engineers, with a historical rate of employability above 95%. This course is the last time this Master's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering will be taught.

However, the training experience of the School is reflected in a degree adapted to the EHEA (Bologna plan): the Master in Telecommunication Engineering. The graduates of this Master are able to obtain the professional attributions of Telecommunication Engineering, a regulated profession in Spain.

The new Telecommunication Engineers are the basic actors of the Information and Communication Society in particular, but also of the vertiginous change that we are living in Society in general.

The Master is structured in two academic years (120 ECTS), with 45 common ECTS, 30 ECTS of specialisation, 15 optional ECTS and 30 ECTS of master's thesis. The specialisation is compulsory, and you can choose between: Radiocommunication, Telematics, Electronics, or Sinal Processing for Communications.

The master's degree final project will be in English, as well as the teaching of the specialisations of Radiocommunication and Signal Processing for Communications, and some optional subjects. Thus, each student will study at least 25% or 50% of the degree in English, which is considered to be of great interest for their future development in a globalised society.

Income profile

This master's degree qualifies for the exercise of the profession of Telecommunication Engineer (in accordance with Order CIN / 355/2009) and is a natural continuation for Telecommunication Engineers and for students of the degrees that enable them to exercise this profession. The master's degree is aimed at the following profiles:

  • Graduates in the area of ​​Engineering and Architecture, especially in the fields that enable the profession of Telecommunication Technical Engineer.
  • Technical telecommunication engineers in any of their specialties (Telecommunication Systems, Telematics, Electronic Systems or Sound and Image).
  • Other graduates in the fields of Engineering and Architecture, such as Graduates in industrial and automatic electronics, Graduates in computer engineering, etc.

From the point of view of personal skills and abilities, the student must have:
