This dual-degree program blends STEM and business to prepare students for careers in the dynamic, growing field of information technology. You’ll learn how to analyze, implement, and manage information systems and technologies with a focus on increasing operational productivity and attaining strategic business goals.
The more you understand business—business concepts and terminology, how managers measure results and make decisions, and why they place specific demands on information systems—the more you’ll contribute to leveraging information technology to benefit a business or organization, as well as open doors to advance in your career.
The Bachelor of Information Technology and Management program is designed to broaden and deepen students’ knowledge of new and emerging information technologies, how to apply and integrate these technologies, and effective administrative practices for managing technology. The curriculum combines theoretical content with projects and laboratory-based instruction in which students apply their learning.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program provides a grounding in core competencies of business, such as accounting, economics, finance, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Courses are taught with an applied, practical approach to build your understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of management and business operations in today’s competitive, global economy.
