Applied mathematics is created in response to problems in science, engineering, and society. As an applied mathematician, you can solve problems across career fields using a variety of mathematical strategies.
The Master of Computer Science is a professional master's degree program, ideal to prepare as a working computer science professional.
This degree program marries the natural pairing between math and computer science to add competitiveness in the job market and open employment possibilities. Accelerated master's students retain undergraduate status to continue undergraduate financial aid packages. However, eligibility to apply for graduate fellowships occurs during the fourth and fifth years.
Spend an extra year at Illinois Tech’s Mies Campus, where Chicago’s diverse economy and thriving technology research community intersect for internship and employment possibilities.
