This master's degree has an inter-disciplinary character that allows different itineraries to complete it, such as Control, Robotics and Automation, Modeling and Simulation, Communications and Signals or Computing for Control. Automatics and automatic control play a basic role in industrial and technological progress. They are found in the development of communication satellites and space travel, in the design of safer and more efficient transport vehicles (cars, trains, planes and ships), in communication systems, including telephone systems, cell phones and also the internet, in the development of cleaner and more efficient chemical processes and energy generation, in the automation of the manufacturing industry, in the development of robots and intelligent machines, and in a large part of medical devices and instrumentation and more modern scientists.
