Given the growing demand expressed by the Spanish society for psychological services with a high degree of specialization, psychology graduates need to  expand their scientific knowledge  and must tend towards  specialization in order to face the world of work with guarantees .

The Master's Degree in General Health Psychology is proposed as an advanced,  professionalizing postgraduate program in the clinical field of Health Psychology, which will allow graduates to exercise the titled and regulated profession of General Health Psychologist, whose exercise requires being in possession of the corresponding official Master's degree.

The Master will allow psychologists to be trained to work, from the perspective of the qualified and regulated profession of General Health Psychologist, in various psychological assistance devices, such as private consultations in liberal practice, health centers in primary health care, educational centers and special psychoeducational care, child development and early care centers, care centers for minors and battered women, psychosocial rehabilitation centers for the chronically ill, care centers for people with dementia, residential centers for the elderly, intervention centers in drug addiction, etc.
