Law 34/2006, of October 30, regulating access to the professions of lawyer and court attorney, introduced in our legal system the requirement of additional professional training to the university prior to enrollment in the corresponding professional association.

This additional training will consist of taking an entrance exam (qualification exam), after passing 60 ECTS credits from training courses accredited by the Ministry of Justice and 30 ECTS credits from supervised internships.

With a view to adapting to the new regulatory framework for law education and preparation for the practice of the legal profession, the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU offers this additional training required by law as a professionalizing master's degree, integrating within theoretical teaching both the subjects directly related to the exercise of the profession and the transversal subjects of special importance (such as ethics, negotiation and training in the values of equality and respect for human rights).

The figure of Compliance is acquiring an increasingly nuclear importance in institutions and companies, motivated, among other factors, by the direction of the new regulations and the assimilation of the great advantages that a good Compliance system brings.

This master's degree is intended to provide current and future professionals in the field of Regulatory Compliance with the necessary tools, delving into innovative fields such as cybersecurity and Blockchain.
