The phenomenon of Europeanization and globalization has led to the expansion of business and other activities beyond national borders. The evolution of new technologies and digitization have further fueled this trend. Furthermore, even within our borders, a good lawyer requires in-depth knowledge of European Union and international law.

For all these reasons, there has been an increase in the demand for legal advisers and professionals who not only know national law, but also have specialized knowledge of European and international law and know how to function in these environments.

The master's degree in International Law responds effectively to the needs demanded by this international context both from the business and business sector and from the legal operators themselves.

The international lawyer is one who professionally responds effectively to cross-border situations from the point of view of private or public law and within the European sphere or in situations with third states. The program is aimed at those future legal professionals who intend to practice law professionally and are completing the master's degree for access to the profession.

Specialization in the international field will make them acquire sufficient learning tools to be competent in the field of law that regulates legal aspects in procedural, civil, commercial, labor and criminal law at an international level and in particular in the EU, of arbitration international law and human rights, as well as new technologies. All this with the aim of obtaining the appropriate skills and comprehensive knowledge of the main legal aspects to resolve conflicts of public or private cross-border law or with elements of foreigners that circumscribe them in the discipline of private international law, public international law and EU law.
