PolyU Faculty of Business is a major business school in the Asia-Pacific region dedicated to advancing knowledge through research and transferring knowledge and technology through education and service. PolyU Faculty of Business offers a comprehensive portfolio of academic programmes. Apart from BBA, MBA, DBA and specialized master's degrees, there are also programmes leading to the MPhil and PhD awards.

Available programs

PolyU Faculty of Business has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) scheme comprising seven awards in addition to other programmes, most of which are widely recognized by professional bodies. Students of the BBA scheme can pursue a business Major plus a Minor by choosing from a range of electives. You will be equipped with state-of-the-art professional knowledge, and gain real-world experience before graduation through Work-Integrated Education and Whole Person Development. Your holistic development can be enhanced with considerable opportunities for student exchange and out-of-the-classroom learning.

Each of PolyU’s BBA programmes lasts for four years. The BBA programme includes 30 credits worth of general university requirements, 90 credits of discipline specific requirements, and three work-integrated education training credits.


The Faculty is ranked No. 55 in the world in the latest UTD (University of Texas at Dallas) Top 100 Business School Worldwide Rankings based on research published in 24 top business journals for the period of 2012 to 2016.

Apart from the BBA, MBA, DBA and specialized master’s degrees, there are also research programmes leading to the MPhil and PhD awards. To maintain the currency of its academic programmes and specialist consultancy, PolyU faculty members undertake application-oriented research, both within and across their disciplines, facilitated by Business School’s centres for research in one belt one road, logistics, shipping, maritime studies,leadership, sustainability and marketing.
