All suitable applicants will be interviewed for this course.

IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any element

GCSE English Language, Mathematics and Science at grade C or grade 4 (we do not accept Human Biology) - these can be pending plus two additional GCSEs at Grade C. We do NOT accept Adult numeracy and literacy, Functional Skills. Key Skills, Human Biology and Physiology. GNVQ Science (unless this is at intermediate level and graded Merit or Distinction).

Level 3 study within last 3 years and academic reference.

Minimum 2 weeks experience with children of which at least one week must be within a school/educational setting. Any additional work with children will enhance your application, e.g. Brownies, sports coaching etc. The majority of this experience should have taken place before submitting application

Applicants to Initial Teacher Training courses are required to pass the skills tests before starting their course.
