Bachelor of Science (Fire Science & Public Safety Administration)

The Fire Science and Public Safety Administration program is designed to build upon the Associate Degree in Fire Science, Fire Technology, or Emergency Management.

Our Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fire Science and Public Safety Administration prepares our graduates to advance in the evolving field of public safety. 

Whether it is a career in the fire service or any number of related fields, the Fire Science and Public Safety Administration degree is designed to help graduates compete for a job and advance in their career. We are very proud to say that our graduates have advanced not only to the top civil service positions in area fire departments but also to executive positions. The promotional process in career fire departments is competitive and a degree can be the difference maker.

This program provides graduates with the knowledge and confidence to advance in the fire service or in any number of related fields. Our graduates who are members of the Philadelphia Fire Department receive a bonus of one full point on every promotional examination they take.

Holy Family University graduates have advanced to supervisory, management, and executive positions in both the fire service and in related fields.
