Bachelor of Arts (Biology/Pre-Physician Assistant)

Physician Assistants are skilled medical professionals who practice medicine under the supervision of doctors and surgeons to improve healthcare access and quality.

This program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Anatomy & Physiology, and Physics while granting them the opportunity to potentially gain admission into a professional degree program to pursue a Master of Medical Science degree. 

The curriculum is designed based on information provided by the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Physician Assistant Education Association and meets the prerequisites required by the majority of professional Physician Assistant schools.

This Pre-Physician Assistant program does not provide any licensing, certification, or direct opportunity to practice medicine once a degree is granted. Graduates of this program will be competitive for admission into graduate schools that offer a Master of Medical Science (Physician Assistant) degree.
