Bachelor of Arts (Applied Computer Science)

The bachelor of arts degree in Applied Computer Science program was developed in collaboration with Google to create a project-based, portfolio-building experience that will prepare graduates for careers in technology and software development.

Applied Computer Science is a field with high-demand in jobs across nearly every industry. Our program, which was built in collaboration with Google, focuses on giving you the resume, portfolio, skills, support, and degree you need to launch a career in technology. 

The Applied Computer Science program is designed to build a robust and flexible foundation of pre-professional computing skills necessary to enter the broad range of technical roles that require computer science degrees. 

The foundational skills acquired are “hard” skills: proficiency in core frameworks and languages that are heavily used in industry. However, this program also includes more abstract skills necessary to be successful in a range of roles, including product development best practices.
