It involves planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and monitoring progress. The primary role of a manager is a decision maker. Managers must be alert to social, political, economic, and technology issues in the business environment.


The AACSB-accredited 120-credit-hour degree program includes 12 to 15 hours of additional management classes built around the core business curriculum. UTA’s BBA in management has four optional tracks: Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship/Small Business, International Management, and General Management.
