Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Sciences

The BSED major in Science aims to produce a graduate who: 1. demonstrates a deep understanding of scientific concepts and principles as evidenced in the application within and across curriculum teaching areas to promote justice, peace, integrity, credibility, and responsibility for the glory of God, home, country, and the world. 2. applies scientific inquiry in teaching and learning to develop critical and creative thinking, and other higher-order thinking skills and to keep up with the changing times. 3. utilizes effective science teaching and assessment methods that engage learners,
individually or in groups, in meaningful exploration, discovery and hands- on activities within the available physical learning environments and to make
concrete and useful contributions where needed.
