Bachelor of Communication Science program has been shaping the future of communication professionals since its establishment in 1994. With a commitment to excellence, the program has nationally accredited excellent and holds international accreditation from FIBAA since 2021, reflecting its dedication to delivering a top-tier education.
From the outset, the program aims to cultivate a diverse range of skills and competencies among its students. Through a carefully crafted curriculum, students delve into foundational courses covering communication theory, media studies, and research methodology. These courses provide the theoretical framework necessary for understanding the complexities of the communication landscape.
As students progress through the program, they have the opportunity to specialize in various tracks tailored to their interests and career aspirations. Whether it's journalism and broadcasting, public relations, or marketing communication, students gain in-depth knowledge and practical skills relevant to their chosen field.
In this program, students are well-equipped to pursue various career paths within the communication industry and beyond. Students are expected to be communication professional such as media planner creative and digital strategist, social media specialist, academics, researcher, or entrepreneur in creative industry.
The program also boasts a range of facilities designed to simulate real-world communication environments and provide students with hands-on experience. Among these facilities is the Broadcasting Laboratory, where students have the opportunity to hone their skills in scriptwriting, directing, editing, and producing various media content.  Students also have access to UPN TV and UPN Radio, platforms that allow them to showcase their talents and creativity to a wider audience. Whether it's producing news segments, talk shows, or radio programs, students gain practical experience in media production and broadcasting under the guidance of experienced faculty members.
Furthermore, the program offers a Creative Advertising facility where students can explore the creative process behind designing and executing advertising campaigns. From concept development to visual design and copywriting, students learn to craft compelling messages that resonate with target audiences across different media platforms.  In addition, this program has Kinne Film Media, which provides students with the tools and resources needed to produce high-quality films and multimedia projects. From pre-production planning to post-production editing, students have the opportunity to bring their creative visions to life on the silver screen.
