Our MSc Management (Media) programme is an attractive specialism if you are interested in the challenges associated with global media and would like to develop a career within this field.
You will pursue specialist topics such as public relations, branding, promotion and digital media, equipping you with knowledge in the key areas fundamental to the development, design and promotion of media platforms and the content that they host. You will also develop your skills in essential business and management concepts such as managing financial resources, operations, human resources and marketing.
The emphasis on brands and ethically conscious design principles encourages the importance of developing best practice in terms of sustainable identities and market presence within an increasingly chaotic media landscape. The theoretical and practice-based perspectives you will study will allow you to develop valuable insights into these elements upon which all businesses rely.
This programme has been specifically designed with a clear focus on management in an interconnected global community, to give you a solid grounding in a range of dynamic business principles to help enhance your employability.
Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the course is open to students from any discipline who would like to work in business or management.
Please note that Management modules will be taught within the School of Management building at Bay Campus, whereas Media modules will be taught at our Singleton Park Campus.
