Acting for Film, Television, Voice-overs, and Commercials (FTVC) re-examines the training of the contemporary actor and media performer from top to bottom. It offers a fresh approach to acting as well as physical and vocal preparation. With studio classes, performance opportunities, and individual attention all in the heart of New York City, Pace Performing Arts’ FTVC major readies the young actor for entry in to today's multi-faceted industry. FTVC major at Pace School of Performing Arts is the first undergraduate university program in the US focused entirely on training the actor for work in front of the camera and microphone. With a conservatory-like model, the Pace School of Performing Arts provides sequential training from day one. This includes four years of acting for film and television, three years of physical preparation, two years of vocal production and speech, one year of commercial acting, one year of voice-over technique, plus courses in film and TV script analysis and history, and much more.
