Admission requirements

Since this master programme is designed specifically for international students, the actual access policy will necessarily be based on previous programme content, rather than specific degrees. Applicants should have completed an academic Bachelor’s programme, either in Engineering Science with strong components in computer science and mathematics, or in Informatics or Computer Science with a strong component of mathematics. Intermediate forms of programmes are accepted if they are situated in Science or Engineering Science (rather than Engineering Technology or Humanities).

For the most recent – and only official – information on the admission requirements, please check our webpage.

Student profile

Applicants must have a field-specific educational background: you have completed an academic bachelor’s programme either in engineering science with strong components in computer science and mathematics, or in informatics or computer science with a strong component of mathematics.

You have a solid foundation in computer sciences and an aptitude for problem solving. You can demonstrate high-level familiarity with programming, including object-oriented programming, and have specialist knowledge of computer architecture, networks and databases. You have received thorough training in mathematics, including mathematical analysis, linear algebra, numerical mathematics, statistics and preferably in discrete mathematics.
