The BA in General Humanities is designed to allow students to pursue a more flexible selection of courses, with broad exposure to courses from across all of Brock’s Faculties. Students may focus on an area of study, with the majority of courses taken in disciplines within the Faculty of Humanities after having the opportunity to explore various courses in first year. Students may include up to two minors in this degree. Students will explore cultural, intellectual, and artistic ideas from ancient times and worlds to the present, and in the process, watch as their critical thinking, problem-solving and communications skills flourish.
