The Brock Philosophy MA program allows students to study Eastern philosophy and contemporary continental thought. The program focuses on the following areas: recent and contemporary continental and Asian thought, as well as comparative philosophy. Students will be familiarized with post-structural continental thinkers. MA students can specialize in either Contemporary Continental Philosophy, Eastern Philosophy or Comparative Philosophy. Such inclusions indicate the type of dynamic rapport the Department wishes to keep with the wider philosophical community. Consequently, the majority of courses offered in any one year will be selected from one of the specializations.
