Brock’s Master of Arts in English offers a research-intensive program that prepares candidates to succeed at the highest levels in the academy and beyond. The small group environment encourages both independent work habits and community-building skills. This 12-month program consists of mandatory courses which will provide students with valuable foundations in literary and cultural theoretical approaches, advanced research skills, and professional development, while specialist seminars led by faculty experts engage with cutting-edge topics in the field. Following two terms of course work, students complete a research project of their own design by the end of August.
