This Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication program aims to equip students with a sound theoretical basis for analyzing and practicing communication within the business environment. Business Communication is an interdisciplinary program combining the study of communication with the study of some aspects of business. Students admitted to Business Communication may continue in the program upon successful completion of Years 1 and 2 with a minimum 65 percent major average in each year. A student with a major average lower than 65 percent will not be permitted to continue in Business Communication. Students wishing to proceed to Year 4 Honours require a minimum 70 percent major average. Students wishing to proceed to Year 4 with Major in Business Communication require a minimum 65 percent major average.

  • Game Programming: In partnership with Niagara College, this degree/diploma program connects students with industry and academic experts to develop skills in creating engaging video games, preparing them for dynamic careers in the gaming industry 
  • Sport Management: Ranked first in Canada for university sport management research contributions around the world, this bachelor’s program combines classroom learning with fieldwork , preparing students for careers in sport management, marketing, public relations, and event management.     • Kinesiology: This program is well-known Worldwide for its high-quality research and excellent teaching of all aspects of human movement and sports science. The department continues to be ranked in the top 100 Kinesiology departments (i.e., Exercise and Sports Science) in the QS World University Rankings. This places us behind only 8 other Kinesiology departments in Canada (4 in Ontario) and ahead of the many other departments in the country. This reflects the excellent research output of our faculty members whose publications collectively generate almost 100,000 citations.    

      • Business Administration, Co-op International Dual Degree: Graduates earn a bachelor of business administration from Brock as well as a second degree from a partner school in Ireland, Germany or France.

            2. Health, Sport, and Performance Across the Lifespan : This theme addresses various health-related issues, including chronic conditions and the benefits of physical activity. Research emphasizes a transdisciplinary approach integrating biological and social factors. Notable Brock initiatives include the   Brock–Niagara Centre for Health and Well-Being ,   Centre for Lifespan Development Research , and   Environmental Ergonomics Laboratory . Partnerships with regional health providers and organizations like the   2021 Canada Summer Games   enhance practical applications of research.   
            3. Society, Well-Being, and Social Change : This theme examines governance, democratic processes, and determinants of mental health in a changing society. It focuses on evidence-based analysis for policy development. Notable Brock initiatives include the   Centre for Business Analytics ,   Niagara Community Observatory , and the   Social Justice Research Institute . Collaborations with local agencies such as the   Niagara Parks Commission   and   Alzheimer's support networks   support impactful research outcomes.   
            4. Environment, Bioproducts, and Physical Systems : Drawing on its unique location, Brock researches environmental systems and agriculture, particularly viticulture. Notable Brock initiatives include the   Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI) ,   Environmental Sustainability Research Centre , and   Advanced Biomanufacturing Centre . Partnerships with local industries, including the   Ontario Grape and Wine Growers   and the cannabis industry, support innovation in bioproducts and sustainable practices.   
            5. Computation, Analysis, and Data : This theme addresses the challenges of a data-rich world through computational methods and analytics. Brock aims to enhance research capacity in data management and visualization. Notable Brock initiatives include the   Brock Institute for Scientific Computing ,   Centre for Business Analytics , and the   Digital Scholarship Lab .
