The Master of Science in Economics is a one-year Master programme, oriented towards students with broad interests in social and scientific matters who are capable of critical and creative thinking. This programme offers you a theoretical framework and an in-depth training in economic theory and econometrics, allowing you to provide well-grounded answers to socio-economic questions.
Programme structure
The programme offers you a theoretical framework and an in-depth training in economic theory, econometrics and applied economics which allows you to provide well-grounded answers to socio-economic questions. You should have an interest in the dynamics of economy and society, the ability to analyse, synthesise and interpret information. The programme consists of a common core of three programme units (Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Econometrics) and a master's thesis. You complete your programme by choosing courses out of the elective groups.
Career perspectives
As a graduate of MSc in Economics, you will be qualified for employment in a variety of contexts and positions, including government research centres, professional associations, large enterprises, international organisations, government departments, public institutions, international organisations, financial services, companies and social organisations.
