Prerequisites

  • Pass SPM / O-level or equivalent with 5 credits in Mathematics, Biology/Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/Applied Science and a Pass in English (Except for UEC).
  • Pass SPM//O-level or equivalent with 3 credits in Mathematics, Biology/Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/Applied Science and a Pass in English for entry with Diploma Qualification.
  • Candidates without a credits in Mathematics, Biology/ Physics/Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science and a Pass in English at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the STPM / Foundation / Diploma/Matriculation programme contains subjects in Mathematics, Biology/Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/Applied Science and English that are equivalent or higher to Mathematics, Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science and English at SPM level.
  • Those without a pass/credit in Mathematics, Biology/ Physics/Chemistry/ General Science/Applied Science at SPM level or equivalent can be admitted but must attend special enhancement course(s). These special enhancement courses should be SPM equivalent, remedial. Students must pass/credit the Mathematics and Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/General Science/ Applied Science enhancement courses as a prerequisite to related core courses taught in English.

Entry Pathway

  • Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM): CGPA 2.00 for 2 subjects with min. Grade C for each subject
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): A Pass in UEC with a minimum of 5B including Mathematics, Biology / Physics / Chemistry / General Science / Applied Science and a Pass in English
  • A Levels: Min. DD or equivalent of min. 120 points
  • South Australian Matriculation (SAM) / SACE International: Min. ATAR 50
  • Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Min. average of 50% in 6 subjects
  • International Baccalaureate (IB): Min. 24 points in 6 subjects
  • Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY): 50%
  • Diploma in Psychology: CGPA 2.00
  • Taylor’s Foundation and Diploma programmes: Pass any Taylor's Foundation/Diploma programme with CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00
  • Foundation / Pre-University / Diploma from any other institution recognised by MOHE: CGPA 2.00
  • MOHE Matriculation: Pass with min. CGPA 2.00
  • DKM/DKLM/DVM: Pass the above DKM/DLKM/DVM with a minimum CGPA 2.50 subject to Senate approval of the relevant institutions; or Graduated from DKM/DLKM/DVM with a minimum CGPA 2.00 with a minimum of two (2) years of work experience in the related field.
  • Other Equivalent Qualification: Application via APEL A is allowed;  or The HEPs are required to conduct screening and provide appropriate bridging courses in Mathematics and Science. Any other equiv. qualification recognized by the M'sian Government.
