In this Master of Arts, students will compare these two related but distinct disciplines, Theology and Religious Studies, on such issues as religious diversity, Canadian multiculturalism,  globalization, and public theology. Courses in biblical studies, world religions, and systematic theology are available. Community engagement and field work are also encouraged. This program is delivered jointly by Saint Mary’s and The Atlantic School of Theology. It has small yet engaged classes and this program is ideal for those who would like to understand the growing diversity of religions and cultures in Halifax.
