The Childhood degree prepares teacher candidates to work with diverse student populations from Grades 1-6. Teacher candidates may also choose dual certification for teaching students at Birth - Grade 6. Teachers change lives, one child, one classroom, one school at a time. Our highly qualified faculty includes professors with experience as teachers, principals, and school superintendents. They will become your mentors, field placement supervisors, career advisors, and advocates as they help you move from our campus to a classroom of your own. Our goal is to prepare a new generation of knowledgeable teachers who consider the whole child in instructional planning and teaching.
