Kindergarten (Aflaj Campus)

1- Introduction to the department: The Kindergarten Department was established in the College of Sciences and Humanities in Al-Aflaj at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in the year 1433/1434 AH, and studies began in the first semester of the academic year 1433/1434 AH, and it is concerned with female students only. The department offers its academic program over four years of study distributed over eight levels. After passing the bachelor’s degree in kindergarten, the student is awarded after completing the department’s requirements, college requirements, and university requirements, which amount to a total of (66) courses. The department qualifies the graduate student to work in the field of teaching in kindergartens, or in children’s departments in libraries and childhood and motherhood associations, or in the field of audio-visual and written media related to childhood. The Kindergarten Department aspires to achieve excellence in the field of university education and scientific research in the field of child education and upbringing, by enriching the educational and research process in the department, and qualifying specialized national cadres with high efficiency in the field of kindergartens in line with the fields of work in the field of child education and participation in addressing issues. Community in the field of childhood. The program offered by the department aims to provide advanced educational programs for undergraduate students, prepare academically qualified cadres with a high level of competence in the field of raising and educating children, enable the student to master the skills of raising children and dealing with them, and fill the community’s need for specialists in kindergarten science.
