The religious sciences programs at UdeM offer a description, analysis and understanding of religious phenomena based mainly on anthropology, history, philosophy, sociology, psychoanalysis, cultural studies and political sciences, but also in critical dialogue with theology.

Its approach in theology, religious sciences and spirituality favors an interdisciplinary approach and draws on the human and social sciences.
