This course provides you with specialist skills to drive the mechanical innovations required by modern industry. You’ll explore the very latest approaches to mechatronics – designing systems with built-in intelligence, enabling machines to adapt to ever-changing data inputs and demands. The course equips you with knowledge of mechatronics, robotics and engineering design and management. You’ll learn how to make best use of data inputs to create smart factories, as well as how people interact with these processes. You’ll also see how industry’s increasing dependence on connectivity is creating new vulnerabilities, particularly the cyber security risks associated with automation.
