The emergence of Building Information Modelling (BIM) ; Advanced Construction Technologies (ACT); Interactive Technologies (IAT) , conceptual and systemic processes offer an expedient approach to design, construction, engineering and environmental problems through all phases of the lifecycle of building development process and have started to offer the industry an opportunity to innovate and evolve. It is clear that the future of the built environment and construction industries will be digitally enhanced. This course focuses on exploring the issues, challenges and changing digital technological needs of the various stakeholders within the construction industries. This will enable students to develop an in-depth and integrated understanding of BIM and other Interactive technologies applicable to their working practice and discipline area.
