Students are admitted into a pre-program through the university’s regular admission process: New freshmen admitted to USU in good standing (a 2.5 GPA) qualify for admission to this major; Transfer students from other institutions and from other USU majors need a 2.2 total GPA for admission to this major in good standing. Students must then meet with the academic advisor to determine if this is a degree through the pathway program or as an different option to complete a BS degree at USU from another program. Full admittance is at the discretion of the academic advisor.
