The human experience design and interaction (HEDI) bachelor’s program focuses instructional design, video game design, product design, or multimedia design. You will gain a strong footing in understanding human interaction that will propel you to create user-friendly designs in a variety of sectors. All students in this bachelor’s program choose two emphasis areas from: Culturally Responsive Design, New Venture Management, Game Studies, Product Development, Marketing, Technical Communication and Multimedia. Your online classes may include individual assignments, discussion postings, and quizzes/exams; there are may also be cooperative group projects and group assignments. Your instructor will support you by: guiding you through activities, posting announcements, providing lectures, responding to questions, and providing timely feedback on assignments and exams.

A GPA requirement of 2.0 and completion of 60 credits. Other criteria considered includes prior work experience, aptitude for technology, and experience with multimedia. The program is geared toward students who have already completed an associate degree, either through USU or another institution. However, students can be accepted into the program before completing an associate degree, even as incoming freshmen.  ITLS coursework is only available online.
