The Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science (B.S.E.S.) is designed for students who want to study the anatomical, physiological, biomechanical and psychological bases of human physical performance. The curriculum has a strong foundation in the natural sciences; students have the opportunity to specialize in one of the following areas: human performance and health fitness, pre-occupational therapy, pre-physical therapy, and pre-physician assistant. Many students use the degree as a steppingstone to graduate education in exercise science, medicine and other allied health fields such as physical therapy and occupational therapy. Exercise science studies human physical performance. Exercise scientists assist people of all ages in developing and maintaining healthy, productive and satisfying lifestyles. There are many different specialties that can be explored. UTâ€™s exercise science program has a variety of specialties to choose from â€“ biomechanics, health promotion and human performance, exercise physiology, pre-physical therapy, pre-occupational therapy, and pre-physician assistant.

Bachelor UG

Founded in 1872, UT is one of fifteen comprehensive, publicly funded universities in the state of Ohio. Located in northwest Ohio, the University offers undergraduate, graduate, law, medical, and English Language programs with over 1,600 full and part-time faculty members. Recently we merged with the Medical College of Ohio, which makes us one of only a handful of public institutions with colleges of business, education, engineering, law, medecine, and pharmacy. The Offices of International Admission and International Student Services at the University provide a wide variety of services to the more than 1,000 international students, faculty and staff at UT. Members of these offices evaluate all international applications for admission to undergraduate study, conduct orientation programs, assist students in finding suitable housing, offer immigration counseling services, and provide intensive English instruction through the American Language Institute.
