Admission to the course requires: a bachelors degree with first or second class honours from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; or a pass bachelors degree in a health-related discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification. Applicants must have completed work equivalent to a first or second class honours bachelors degree or pass a preliminary examination(s) as prescribed by the Faculty; or completion of the first 4 years of an undergraduate medical degree that is accredited by the Australian Medical Council, and a letter of recommendation from the head of clinical school/medical program supporting concurrent enrolment while completing degree requirements. All students entering the program are expected to have some clinical experience.
