The Master of Global Health prepares graduates to work and improve the health of populations in the global context. The course has a specific focus on achieving equity in health for people worldwide and on preparing you to apply public health principles in some of the most challenging and demanding conditions in the world. This course will provide you the time needed to build competency and gain skills from a wide range of global health electives and electives from other programs within the Sydney School of Public Health. To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have: an Australian bachelor's degree with honours or a graduate diploma or a graduate certificate or an equivalent qualification or an Australian bachelor's degree in a relevant field (eg. medicine and health fields such as dentistry, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physiotherapy or science, mathematics, veterinary science, or humanities and social sciences fields such as international relations, international development, economics, political science, communication and journalism, or education, or civil engineering, or law) or equivalent qualification or an Australian bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and two years professional work experience in health or international development.
