By examining the physical and mental benefits of exercise, kinesiology students gain the knowledge to promote healthier lifestyles for people of all ages and backgrounds.Students have the option of receiving a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Science (BS degree). Both degrees require completion of 52 credits. The BS degree requires an additional 20 credits of supporting science courses. All classes taken for the major require a minimum grade of "C" in order to qualify for the degree.
