About Università degli Studi dell'Insubria

The University of Insubria, was founded in 1998, on July the 14th, spinning off from the long-standing tradition of the University of Milano and the University of Pavia.

Since the foundation the University is based on a distinguishing network model: two main campus in Varese and Como are integrated by a satellite campus in Busto Arsizio.

The strong connection to the highly industrialized territory is characterising all the activities at the University and, with its nearly twenty thousand graduates and with an extensive activity of dissemination initiatives open to public, it has become a reference to the area.

The training offer consists of several courses of Degree (23), Masters Degree (15), Doctoral Studies (8) and Graduate Schools (32) and covers several disciplines from humanities to the science, passing through medicine, economy and tourism.
