Master of Science in Medical Music Therapy

• This Program is of (CBCS Pattern) 2 Years duration.
• Sanctioned Seats are 10 Seats Additional 2 seats under SC Quota.
• Upper Age limit is 40 years for Admission.
• Minimum Qualification for admission is Bachelor’s degree in Health/ Allied/ Basic Sciences possessing skills in Music. Lateral entry will be offered to 2nd year for those having completed PGDMT from Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth or other institutes if syllabus has more than 80% equivalence as determined by duly constituted committee for the same.

At the end of the Program holders will be able to function

effectively as:

1: Students get trained as skilled music therapists and begin their professional clinical

practice by honing their clinical and music therapy skills integrating current research in the

field

2: Enhance their personality in physical, psychological and spiritual dimensions.

3: Become reflective, and become sensitive to the aesthetic and therapeutic qualities of

music. In addition, they develop a commitment to the subject of music and its therapeutic use.

4: Develop professionalism in the areas of music therapy standard of practice and

professional competencies and code of ethics.

5: Become informed about music therapy research and ethics.
