The Physical Therapy Program at Queen’s University prepares students to undertake the professional roles of physiotherapists in Canada. The Physical Therapy Program is a 24-month, sequential, program of the School of Graduate Studies at Queen’s University, leading to a Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSc.PT) degree. The program is accredited by Physiotherapy Education Accreditation Canada and graduates are eligible to challenge the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE), which qualifies them for physiotherapy practice in Canada. Graduates are also eligible to register with the Colleges of Physiotherapy in all Canadian provinces and territories, and with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Academic Prerequisites: A 4-year baccalaureate degree with a minimum second-class standing from a recognized university including: at least one course in introductory psychology (minimum 1.0) and one course in statistics (minimum 0.5) AND undergraduate courses with substantive content in human anatomy (minimum 0.5) and physiology (minimum 0.5). One full credit in human anatomy is recommended. // Grades Required: Our first cut-off is based on: (1) GPA of your most recent 10 full-course  or 20 half-course undergraduate credits (subGPA); (2) The level of the cut off for the subGPA is dependent on the applicant pool; (3) Cumulative GPA for all years of undergraduate study must be ≥ 2.89. // Other Requirements: (1) Queen’s Physical Therapy Personal Submission Form questions; (2) Documented evidence (through volunteer work, community service or personal experience) of strong interest in the profession of physical therapy, knowledge of the profession and desire to work with people of all ages. // For further information on admission requirements please check with the University for entry.
